Taking the Global Initiative

 

Image 1International Dentistry South Africa has taken the initial step in its aim to serve a more international readership. Australasia is the first new region to be addressed in the aim to reach the profession globally, with the recent launch of International Dentistry South Africa - Australasian Edition. The new journal will initially be published on a quarterly basis and will be distributed to the profession in Australia and New Zealand. Australasian dental opinion leaders have joined the Editorial and Review Boards of both journals, and articles submitted by local authors are expected. A unique partnership agreement with leading dental suppliers, Henry Schein Halas, will facilitate the distribution of the new journal to the dental profession. Many people have made a contribution in guiding International Dentistry SA to its current international status. Special acknowledgement goes to Prof Dr Marco Ferrari (Italy), Dr William Liebenberg (Canada), Prof Errol Stein (South Africa) and Dr Bernard Touati (France) for their continued efforts in maintaining the extraordinary high standard which will ultimately position the journal among the best dental publications in the world.
